The Dragon Stories

  1. Students were introduced to the Four Dragon Folktale as a back drop into writing a dragon folktale. We compared this story to How the Raven Stole the Sun (Text to Text)
  2. Then they will use the Four Dragon Story Map plus story map as criteria for writing their story. The Antogonist and Protaganist are key components to their story.
  3. Meanwhile, students are using a China Report Planner to formulate and answer questions about China in the computer lab. One student discovered that you can write the question in google to find your answer. (I thought that was pretty clever) 
  4. They will create a shadow puppet to tell "Their" story. (See shadow puppets). "Shadow Puppets" or make a Dragon Puppet. It's time to be creative.
  5. Finally, they will use Photo Booth to record their story.
